Arnica montana oil is a natural herbal remedy commonly used for its anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties. Extracted from the flowers of the arnica plant, the oil is widely applied topically to help reduce muscle soreness, joint pain, bruising, and swelling after exercise or minor injuries. Many people also use arnica oil to support circulation and speed the healing of soft-tissue trauma such as sprains and strains. Because of its soothing effect on the skin and underlying tissues, it is frequently included in massage oils, sports recovery products, and natural first-aid treatments. While arnica oil can be very beneficial when used externally, it should not be ingested and should generally be applied to unbroken skin.
