Spikenard essential oil, also called Nard, is steam-distilled from the wild-crafted dried, crushed roots of a perennial growing in the Himalayan region of India. It is said to have a balancing effect on the spiritual, emotional and physical energies and calms the heart and solar plexus. It is also said to have sedative properties similar to valerian oil.

Traditionally used for thousands of years for skin care, due to being balancing, soothing and rejuvenating. In ancient times, it was held to be one of the most precious oils and is mentioned in the New Testament.*

Caution: 100% pure essential oils. Carefully dilute with a CARRIER OIL such as, Fractionated Coconut, Jojoba, Grapeseed, Olive, or Almond oil BEFORE application to skin.
